  2. Opened in 1906, Shinjuku Gyoen is a Japanese garden created for the Imperial Family. The garden - which is skillfully comprised of a formal garden, a landscape garden, and a Japanese garden - is an iconic modern European-style garden from the Meiji period (1868-1912) and is considered a masterpiece among the few landscape gardens in Japan. The garden features 1,000 cherry blossom trees of about 65 types, plum trees, azaleas, Yoshino cherry, and many other colorful blossoms.

  3. The Sumida River nighttime cherry blossom cruise departs from Asakusa and lasts for about 45 minutes. Cherry blossoms bloom brilliantly on both sides of the Sumida River. 

  4.  While viewing cherry blossoms, enjoy a sakura mochi snack, a spring specialty. Admire the beauty and savor the taste of Japan's cherry blossoms.

Sumo stables Tokyo Sumo Wrestling

EARLY MORNING SUMO PRACTICE VIEWING AND CHANKO HOT POT LUNCH TOUR

  1. Watch the early morning practice of sumo wrestlers in a sumo stable. See the sumo wrestlers as they earnestly engage in their practice, their burly frames clashing with full impact, right before your eyes. Enjoy watching close enough to hear their breathing.
    This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter who is also a sumo fan

  2. Enjoy chanko hot pot for lunch! Chanko hot pot is a very healthy dish of simmered vegetables, chicken, and seafood often traditionally eaten by wrestlers living in a sumo stable. 

  3. Feel free to take pictures of the sumo wrestlers while early-morning practice is ongoing.

  4. The tour will also visit the Sumo Museum, which is inside Ryogoku Kokugikan. On days when the tour cannot visit the Sumo Museum (during tournament periods or when the Sumo Museum is closed), the tour will be guided to Ryogoku Edo Noren, a shopping and restaurant complex with a full-size sumo ring.

TOKYO SUMO TOURNAMENT

  1. Book now before it's sold out! Watch sumo wrestling, a 1,500-year-old Japanese cultural tradition, accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter who is also a sumo fan.

  2. After watching the sumo bouts, enjoy the traditional meal of sumo wrestlers-- chanko hot pot-- or sukiyaki.
    Chanko hot pot is a very healthy dish of simmered vegetables, chicken, and seafood often traditionally eaten by wrestlers living in a sumo stable. Those who like meat can also choose a meal of “sukiyaki,” a popular Japanese dish.

  3. Watch the sumo wrestlers' fierce battles from a comfortable reserved seat (chair seating).

  4.  Watching sumo wrestling is becoming more and more popular even within Japan. This is a very popular tour so we recommend booking early.

1 DAY NIKKO WORLD HERITAGE TOUR

  1. The National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter will lead participants on a tour of Nikko Toshogu Shrine, registered as a World Heritage Site, while telling them about its rich history. 

  2. Visit Kegon Falls, counted among the greatest waterfalls in Japan.

  3. Visit Lake Chuzenji, a scenic lake with a circumference of about 25 km and a depth of 163 m, created about 20,000 years ago from an eruption of Mt. Nantai which blocked the valley.

  4. This bus tour takes customers efficiently and directly to Nikko's sightseeing spots which are difficult to visit on one's own using route buses.

  5. Travel back in time to the Edo Period (1603-1868)! There will be a stopover at the Hanyu Parking Area, which reproduces the Edo-style atmosphere. See the beautiful structures and famous long-established shops dating back to the Edo Period, and enjoy shopping for souvenirs.

MT. FUJI TOURS

There's more than one way to see a mountain! Most tours depart from Tokyo for Mt. Fuji. It is not recommended to use your Japan Rail Pass (JR Pass) here as access to Fuji is usually by bus or car due to the mountainous nature of the area.

1 DAY WORLD HERITAGE MT. FUJI GOLDEN TOUR

  1. Visit component sites of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Site including Mt. Fuji's 5th Station, Oshino Hakkai, Shiraito Falls, and Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter on this bus tour. This is the only tour taking participants on a trip around the base of Mt. Fuji, which is difficult for independent travelers to do on their own.

  2.  Look forward to admiring cherry blossoms at Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine in spring (late March to early April) or colorful leaves at Shiraito Falls in autumn (mid- to late November).

  3. Select bento box meal from regular, vegetarian or Muslim-friendly (halaal).

  1. This guided 1-day tour takes you to majestic Mt. Fuji and Hakone. It includes a trip up to Mt. Fuji's 5th Station at an elevation of 2,300 meters, a cruise on pristine Lake Ashi, and a ride on the Komagatake Ropeway which boasts great views of the surrounding Hakone National Park.
